These terms and conditions apply to all meditation services offered by Bearsden Reiki, including pay-as-you-go sessions, 4-class passes, block bookings, and meditation memberships. By booking a session, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payments & Refunds

All payments must be made upfront through our online booking system.

No payment plans are available for meditation services.

2. Refund Policy:

Single Class (Pay-As-You-Go):

Cancellations made with more than 24 hours' notice are eligible for a refund or a one-time class reschedule.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice and no-shows are non-refundable.

If you are late and the doors are locked (7:30 pm start time), no refund will be issued.

4-Class Pass:

Non-refundable and non-transferable.

If you cancel a booked class with more than 24 hours' notice, you can reschedule that session.

Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows will result in the class being deducted from your pass.

Block Booking (4-Week Block):

Non-refundable and non-transferable.

Missed classes will not be rescheduled or refunded.

Meditation Membership:

Auto-renews monthly unless cancelled.

14 days' notice is required for cancellation.

If a payment fails, you will be notified via email. We will attempt to process the payment again. If the payment remains unsuccessful, access to classes will be suspended until payment is completed.

3. Class Pass & Block Booking

The 4-class pass must be used within 8 weeks from the date of purchase.

Passes are for individual use only and cannot be shared.

Clients who book a block booking or a 4-class pass will receive a bonus audio recording of each meditation class they attend. Recordings will be sent via email and only apply to attended classes.

Clients can upgrade from a block booking to a membership at any time.

Auto-Renew Option: There is an auto-renew option available for the block booking. Clients can cancel anytime but must give 14 days' notice. If a payment fails, we will notify the client via email and attempt to withdraw the payment again. If the payment remains unsuccessful, the client cannot attend classes until the payment is rectified.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

A minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will be charged in full with no reschedule or refund available.

If Bearsden Reiki Cancels a Class:

Clients with single-session bookings may choose between a refund or a class credit valid for 4 weeks.

Clients with a 4-class pass will have a class added to the end of their pass.

Clients with block bookings will receive a class credit to be added at the end of their block booking period. Refunds are not available for block bookings or 4-class passes.

Meditation membership members will still have access to the meditation recording.

5. Meditation Membership Benefits

The Meditation Membership includes:

Use of tri-fold mats, bolsters, pillows and blankets at each weeks class.

Access to all live meditation classes.

Access to the members' hub with all past and future meditation recordings.

Weekly journal prompts to go deeper on your healing journey.

Complementary Bearsden Reiki eye mask.

20% off any additional 1:1 Reiki or coaching sessions.

Early access to new services, events, and offers.

Journal prompts for spiritual and personal development.
The Momentum Meditation Membership includes:

All of the above.

Monthly 30 minute 1:1 Reiki session. (must be redeemed every payment term, no rolling over to other months)

6. Membership Pause Policy

We know life happens - from holidays to shift work or simply needing to take a breath; which is why we've built in a little flexibility to help you stay committed to your wellbeing long-term.

If you're on either the Meditation Membership or Momentum Membership, you may request to pause your membership under the following terms:

You can pause your membership once every 3 months for up to 4 consecutive weeks. Pause requests must be made at least 7 days before your next payment date by emailing [email protected]. During your pause, you won’t be charged, but your access to meditation recordings, member perks, and equipment use will also be paused. After the pause, your membership will resume automatically, and you’ll continue on your current rate.

If you choose to cancel your membership, the rate you are currently on will no longer be available. Should you return in the future, you will rejoin at the price that is active at that time.

7. Contraindications & Client Responsibility:

Meditation sessions include Reiki energy healing and may include the use of Tibetan singing bowls for sound healing.

Reiki is generally safe but is not recommended for individuals with pacemakers, certain psychiatric conditions, or those undergoing intense medical treatments without prior consultation with a healthcare provider.

Tibetan singing bowls produce sound vibrations that may not be suitable for individuals with epilepsy, severe mental health conditions, pregnancy (especially in the first trimester), or those with medical devices such as pacemakers or cochlear implants.

It is the client's responsibility to complete the health and contraindication form honestly before attending a session.

By booking a session, clients confirm that they have disclosed all relevant medical conditions and accept personal responsibility for their participation.

8. Liability & Expectations

Meditation services are provided for relaxation and personal growth and are not a substitute for medical or psychological care.

Individual results may vary. By booking, you accept personal responsibility for your well-being and experience.

Please arrive on time, as the doors are locked at 7:30 pm to maintain a peaceful environment. Late arrivals will not be admitted, and no refunds will be issued.

9. Data Protection & Communication

Personal information will be stored securely and used only for class updates and communication.

By booking a session, you consent to receive follow-up emails and marketing updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.
