These terms and conditions apply to all Women’s Circle events offered by Bearsden Reiki, including pay-as-you-go sessions and the Bearsden Women’s Circle Membership. By booking or joining the membership, you agree to the following terms:

1. Payments & Refunds:

All payments must be made upfront through our online booking system. No payment plans are available for Women’s Circle services.

2. Refund Policy:

Pay-As-You-Go:

All sales are final. Cancellations made with more than 48 hours' notice are eligible for a one-time transfer to a future circle. If you are late and the circle has started, you may not be admitted, and no refund will be issued.

Women's Circle Membership:

Auto-renews monthly or annually depending on your selected plan. Cancellations for monthly memberships require 7 days' notice before your next billing date. Annual memberships are non-refundable. If a payment fails, you will be notified via email and given the opportunity to update your payment method. Access to benefits will be paused until payment is complete.

3. Attendance & Seat Release Policy:

The 4-class pass must be used within 8 weeks from the date of purchase.

Passes are for individual use only and cannot be shared.

Clients who book a block booking or a 4-class pass will receive a bonus audio recording of each meditation class they attend. Recordings will be sent via email and only apply to attended classes.

Clients can upgrade from a block booking to a membership at any time.

Auto-Renew Option: There is an auto-renew option available for the block booking. Clients can cancel anytime but must give 14 days' notice. If a payment fails, we will notify the client via email and attempt to withdraw the payment again. If the payment remains unsuccessful, the client cannot attend classes until the payment is rectified.

4. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Monthly members must book their seat each month via a private booking link. If you cannot attend a session, you must notify us at least 72 hours in advance. This allows your reserved seat to be released to another woman. Repeated no-shows or missed bookings without notice may result in your guaranteed seat being offered to someone else.

If Bearsden Reiki Cancels a Class:

In the rare instance that a Women’s Circle must be cancelled by Bearsden Reiki (due to illness, emergency, or venue issues), we will always aim to:

Reschedule the event where possible Or offer a refund or credit to pay-as-you-go attendees

Members will retain access to all monthly membership perks including the online circle, recordings, and content

You’ll be notified by email as soon as possible if a cancellation occurs. We deeply value your time, energy, and commitment to the circle, and appreciate your understanding.

6. Contraindications & Client Responsibility:

Some Women’s Circle events may include Reiki healing and/or sound journeys, which will be clearly noted on the event page.

Important:

Reiki is generally safe but may not be recommended for individuals with pacemakers, certain psychiatric conditions, or those undergoing intensive medical treatment.

Sound healing (e.g. crystal bowls or Tibetan singing bowls) may not be suitable for individuals with epilepsy, pregnancy (especially first trimester), cochlear implants, or certain neurological conditions.

It is your responsibility to disclose any relevant medical information before attending. By booking, you confirm that you understand and accept these risks.

6. Liability & Expectations

The Women’s Circle is offered as a space for personal growth, emotional expression, and community connection. It is not a replacement for professional medical or psychological care. Please arrive on time. Doors will be closed once the circle begins to honour the container. Late arrivals may not be admitted and will not be refunded. By booking, you accept personal responsibility for your well-being and participation.

7. Data Protection & Communication

Personal information is stored securely and used only for communication related to your booking or membership. By booking, you consent to receive follow-up emails and community updates. You may unsubscribe at any time.

8. Free Ticket Terms & Conditions

Bearsden Reiki is proud to offer a limited number of free or pay-what-you-can tickets to those who need them — because we believe no woman should be left behind due to financial circumstances. However, these spaces are limited and in high demand, and we ask that they be treated with the same commitment as paid places.

By booking a free ticket, you agree to the following:

If you can no longer attend, you must let us know at least 48 hours in advance so your place can be offered to someone else.If you do not attend without notice, you will no longer be eligible for future free tickets.

9. Respect for Sacred Items & Community Property

Bearsden Reiki creates safe, intentional spaces filled with items that carry deep energetic and spiritual significance. Sadly, following a recent event where an oracle card and its guidebook were taken, we now have to put the following policy in place:

All items used during the circle, including oracle and tarot decks, books, ritual tools, and altar pieces, are for communal use only and must remain on site. Any item missing from the circle will be treated as theft. This will result in immediate removal from future events and cancellation of any active memberships.

We trust that everyone attending comes in good faith — this policy exists to protect the sacredness of the space and the experience for all.
